Chairman: Mr. Rong-Wen Lee
Educational Background:Graduated from the National PingTung University of Science & Technology (formerly known as Pingtung Agricultural College)
Professional Background:Previously worked as a school teacher; precision technician, Deputy Plant Director and Plant Director of Kinmen Liquor Inc; Head of Kinmen County Water Department; Permanent Supervisor at Kinmen Liquor Inc.; elected as the third Chairman of Kinmen Liquor Inc. on February 25, 2002.

Chairman Lee is humble and a man of great vision, who treats the staff in a kind and friendly manner. He is not only a respected elder but also a good role model to his staff. Under his skillful leadership and withholding the belief of customer satisfaction and public service as priority, the whole company works tirelessly towards a prosperous future for KKL.

When Chairman Lee first took over the position, the company faced both internal and external problems, which included the legislation of the tobacco and liquor taxation law, and the expiration of domestic and international agency contracts. Through a meticulous and steady approach, Chairman Lee was able to overcome all the problems, and lead the company to new heights. Such accomplishment included establishing an enterprising partnership with Talt & Co. for the sale of the 58% Kaoliang liquor in the domestic market, as well as the successful development and launch of the 38% Kaoliang Liquor. Over the past 3 years, not only has the company met the goal in revenue set by the Kinmen County Government but also generated profits of over 200 million NT, the highest in recent years.

Greater difficulties lie ahead for KKL, through the lifting of import regulations for distilled spirits from China. In order to overcome the challenges, Chairman Lee is calling for all his staff to unify as one. He insists on making liquor of the best quality, whilst establishing good customer relationships and maintaining KKL's leading status in Taiwan's "clear spirits" market. Other goals include reducing production costs, exploring and expanding in overseas markets (especially in China), especially in China, and to actively develop new products to meet market demands. All in all, the vision is to drive the company towards the goal of being:"Rooted in Taiwan, advance into China, and journey the World-over" , making KKL an internationally renowned liquor brand.

Chairman: Mr. I-Ming Wang
Educational Background:Graduated from Taiwan's World College of Journalism, Department of Television and Broadcasting (3-year program)
Professional Background:
1. Foreign Trade Experience:
  1978 ~ 1986 Wei-Mao Enterprises Limited
1986 ~ 1989 Head of Chuan-Wei Enterprises Limited.
2. Corporate and Industrial Management:
1989~1998 Managing Director of De-Sheng Group Limited., HK
Member of KKL’s Board of Directors,KKL Managing Director

On January 15th, 2005, for the first time KKL broke previous traditions of government appointment for high ranking posts, and formally hired a professional with proficiency in corporate marketing and industrial management. Mr. Yi-Ming Wang was appointed as the first civil Managing Director for KKL.

Mr. Wang is easy going and very approachable, as well as someone who places great importance on the welfare of his staff. Not only is he a rational and diligent person, but Mr. Wang has unique perspective and vision for the management of the company – which helped to establish KKL’s great sales revenue in the year he became Managing Director.

After taking over as Managing Director, Mr. Wang was aware of KKL’s position as a traditional business that has emerged from the shadows of the former nationalized scheme. He felt the need for KKL to move away from the standardized management policy of the past, and instead divided Taiwan, Kinmen and China into separate markets. In doing so, Mr. Wang also devised contrasting marketing strategies for each of the 3 markets, and implemented product segregation.

Born native to Kinmen, Mr. Wang not only possesses a wealth of experience in foreign trading and industrial management, but has also ventured in over 40 countries. In 1994 as the Managing Director he successfully took a production company based in China into the Hong Kong market, allowing the company to go public. Mr. Wang has on his shoulders, the task of sustaining KKL’s prosperity and expanding its business functions, and to lead the company to even greater prospects.

In the future, KKL must carry out constitutional adjustments, and in addition - all employees of the company must move forward with a privatized mentality, despite being under a semi-nationalized scheme. In striving for thoroughness and in facing their work with a zealous mind frame, the employees will maintain the core competitive advantages and bring out the best in KKL’s economic status.
